Action figures and toys with cool functions appeal to just about everybody from boys and girls to teens and toddlers. From collectors who display them in their original boxes with pride to kids who play with them until they either break them or grow out of them, action toys are a popular market. There are nearly as many different action toys available as there are people who use them. Transformers
Of course, another of the year’s hottest action toys, Transformers, are also based on a movie. They have been a popular action toy for years and have enjoyed renewed popularity among a new, younger crowd since the release of the latest movie, Transformers 2. One of the reasons for their popularity is that they combine the element of good versus evil with a whole lot of function. They can be a vehicle, or a robot. They have many moving parts, and can provide children with hours of imagination fueled battles and fun.
There are also many options, the most popular being the Constructicon Devastator which consists of six separate vehicles that all interlock to form this one huge Transformer. However, there are several other collections within the transformer line including Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Toys, Transformers Movie Ultimate Bumblebee toys, Transformers Optimus Prime, Transformers Cybertron, and Metroplex. There are plenty of good and bad transformers to choose from.
Star Wars
The toys in the Star Wars collections have been popular action toy for years. However, thanks to the remakes of the movies and new digital graphics and extras, Star Wars toys have had a real resurgence. They are popular because they fuel the imagination and offer a wide variety of characters and time periods in which to play. For many people, there is no cooler toy than an action figure with a light saber? These action toys have ships, weapons, the force and more.
There are other action toys that will be popular, but these are the ones will be in high demand. Additionally, they have been holding their popularity among little boys for some time.
